10to8 utilises tags that allow you to automatically include information relating to a booking in any emails that are sent. This guide outlines these tags.

Voice Tags

When editing the contents of your voice reminders, under Configuration > Messaging > Customer Messaging, you can add tags to predetermine particular details of the message, such as the date and time of the appointment. Here is a list of all available tags, and what information they include.


  • {{datetime}} - The date and time the appointment is due to start
  • {{event_name}} - The name of the service that was booked
  • {{end_datetime}} - The time and date the appointment is due to finish
  • {{old_event_datetime}} - For rescheduled appointments, the date and time the booking was previously scheduled for
  • {{organisation_short_name}} - The name of your business, shortened for SMS
  • {{organisation_number}} - Your businesses phone number
  • {{organisation_email}} - Your businesses email address
  • {{staff_name}} - The name of the staff member taking the appointment
  • {{recipient_name}} - The name of the person receiving the message
  • {{location_address}} - The address at which the appointment is due to take place
