How To Take Payments
10to8 offers you the ability to automatically take payments, using either PayPal or Stripe.
If you wish to take payments in other ways, you will need to take these payments separate from 10to8. In the 'How To Track Payments' section of this guide, we explain how you can enter a record of payment onto your bookings.

How To Track Payments
If you take payments separate to your 10to8 account, such as a cash payment, you can make a record of this on your bookings.
To add a record of a payment to your bookings, find the necessary booking on your 10to8 calendar. Click on it, and then click the 'Payment' button.
Clicking this will bring up some options for noting how the payment was made.
The first menu has 4 options:
- Card
- Cash
- Cheque
- Bank Transfer
Select the most appropriate method for the transaction in question.
Next, there is a field for you to enter the sum of money that was charged.
Once you are happy with the details you have entered, click the 'Record' button to save this to the booking.
This recorded payment will then be visible on the booking itself, like this:
It will also show in the Activity Window of the booking, like this:
If you have used PayPal or Stripe Integrations to take payments, this will be entered automatically.
How To Track Payments In Reports
To track payments in reports, we recommend selecting the 'Payments' option when creating your report. More information on this can be found here: [link to exporting guide]
